Configuration Specialist.

About the role

The Configuration Specialist, will have complete responsibility for leading on service configuration and the data migration needs for clients. You will plan, implement and manage the safe and secure movement of data between IT systems into the GoodShapeCentral platform as well as configuring the system for data to sit against . You will support the client with understanding both the service configuration options as well as the data required, the format and technology that will be used for these to be shared and the timescales of when they will be required to support successful project launches.

About you - you'll have:

  • Experience in client facing and internal projects
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Experience in a similar role with similar responsibilities
  • Experience of system configuration – no programming experience is necessary.
  • Solid understanding of the use of APIs
  • Strong expertise with MS Excel
  • Able to work under tight schedules and on multiple tasks with multiple data sets
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Strong understanding of data processes and deliverables
  • An awareness of GDPR and the importance of data security
  • Comprehensive analytical skills and the ability to formulate and articulate client-specific solutions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with client subject matter experts and project team to identify, define, collate, document and communicate both the service configuration and the data migration requirements.
  • Prepare data migration plans including migration risk, milestones, quality and business sign-off details.
  • Manage assigned risks and monitor potential impacts as part of the data migration plan.
  • Follow GoodShape best practice, processes, and standards for effectively carrying out service configuration and data migration activities between the client and GoodShape.
  • Planning, overseeing and ensuring the safe and secure transfer and receipt of all aspects of data from the client.
  • Owning the quality of the migrated data to ensure it is fit for purpose
  • Working with the client to manage data exceptions and iterations to achieve clean and successful data load into GoodShapeCentral platform.
  • Ensuring clean, quality, accurate data is loaded into GoodShapeCentral platform to support wider project considerations.
  • Responding to and managing change request to service configuration in line with GoodShape change control process.
